Guarana

Guarana is a climbing shrub in the soap family Sapindaceae, which may rise up to 12 meters in height.
Its red fruits grow in clusters, upon ripening their color becomes light red, the fruit splits slightly and reveals the black nucleus.
The part used is sperm, which contains 2.5-7% caffeine also known as Guaranine which is bound to tannin or phenol.
Guarana grows in the Amazon rainforest region of South America, grows in extreme climatic conditions, which has developed special resistance properties, contains a very high concentration of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
