Astragalus capsules

A perennial plant, belonging to the legume family, common in southern China and used as a main medicinal plant in Chinese medicine.
Its roots contain polysaccharide compounds, flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids (choline and betaine in particular).
In addition, the astragalus plant is a source of folic acid, selenium, zinc, iron and amino acids.
